FROM IRAN TO ARMENIA AND THE THINGS CONNECTED WITH IT OUR AMAZING JOURNEY BY BUS FROM TEHRAN TO YEREVAN IS STARTING. WE WERE ELEVEN, BUT WE ARE ALREADY JUST FOUR. MARTIN AND JURO ONDREAS, MIRO CHALUPKA AND ME – DURCOT HYROS. THE TICKETS BOUGHT BEFORE PROMISE 24 HOURS IN A COMFORTABLE BUS SCANIA SUPER SALOON. IN SPIRIT OF „NOBODY CAN GIVE YOU MORE AS WE CAN PROMISE“ IT TOOK FINALLY 34 HOURS. Posted at: 25.4.2007 A TOWN FULL OF MOTORBIKES OR YOU CAN LIVE ALSO WITHOUT PUBS AND DISCOS... DEAR FRIENDS, AS I PROMISED I SEND YOU OUR OBSERVATIONS OF TEHERAN. WE’VE BEEN IN IRAN ALMOST ONE WEEK AND WE HAVEN’T COME ACROSS WITH ANOTHER DRINK CONTAINING ETYL EXCEPT OF OUR WINE IN POWDER YET... TO SEE IF WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT WE HAVE DECIDED TO GO TO THE CAPITAL OF IRAN, TEHERAN. Posted at: 24.4.2007 Where petrol is cheaper than water … Hello friends, we did not write anything for longer period. We had actually no chance as to find internet in Iran, outside of Teheran is a pretty hard job. Maybe even harder than what we did the last days in this country of no bars and disco’s where patrol is cheaper than water (0.10 Euro/l) and where the bread you can carry hanged over your arm. Posted at: 20.4.2007 How to ski down Mount Ararat or search of the Noe's arch continues uf uf... that would be a precise describtion of what we have experienced in the last two days here in eastern Turkey. Posted at: 12.4.2007 Salam Alejkum! It's friday 6.4. and we are moving from Ankara with all our equipment. We take a short national flight to Van, a city in the east of Turkey. Posted at: 8.4.2007 Ankara After the arrival to Ankara, integration of the members of the expedition into the local culture and society has started. In this process local bier Efes was quite helpful. It is not the staff we are used to in our region, but still better than prohibition policy of some other surrounding countries. Posted at: 5.4.2007 Ready to go! Last weeks we spent with preparation for our relaxating stay in Turkey, Iran and Armenia. All equipment is prepared and somehow packed in our huge bags.
